6 Weeks!

I will be 6 weeks along tomorrow! I seems like I've already been pregnant forever! Is impatience a symptom? haha So far it has been a little bit frustrating/irritating having to hold it all in! I mean, in one night, your entire world/life changes forever and then the next day you just have to keep going about everything like normal...it's SO hard! I hate secrets! I am just hoping the next month flies by and then we can spread our happy news :)

How Far Along: 6 weeks (as of tomorrow)
Baby is the size of: A sweet pea!
Symptoms: well the stomach cramping has subsided for now; however we have ventured into the realm of nausea! Ick. By mid-way through my fourth week I had already 'lost my lunch breakfast'. But luckily, I have not had another episode of that since! Basically I wake up and for the first hour or so I feel pretty nauseous. It usually then goes away and I'm good for the day. Little bits of gagginess come every now and then, but overall it really hasn't been too bad. Other than that, I've still been really tired but have restless sleep when I actually go to bed. Also, I am ALWAYS HUNGRY! I know you aren't really supposed to gain much weight in the first trimester and especially this early into it but I just don't know how that's going to happen because my stomach seems like it's always growling! And who am I to starve our poor little fetus? ;)
Have you told anyone? No one! And it has been soo hard for me! I almost blow it just about every day!
Miss Anything? Being able to eat breakfast! :(
Food Cravings: Chipotle burritos!! I have to confess, I went there multiple times last week. I have always loved them, but they are just SO good right now! Kevin has had to put me on restriction so I won't go there every.single.night. Other than that, nothing in particular - just hungry a lot!
Anything making you sick/queasy? Nothing in particular - just anything in the morning pretty much.
Have you started to show yet? Kind of -- but it's more bloat than baby at this point. It's definitely more so in the evenings (but then again, it could be all the Chipotle). My pants are feeling a little bit tighter but nothing too much that other people would notice yet.
Gender prediction:Boy! The Chinese lunar gender calendar thingy said a boy and those Chinese people usually know what they're doing. ;)
Mood: Mostly happy - I had one day of hormonal crankiness and a few bouts of annoyance (mostly because I can't tell anyone about all this!) but overall nothing too crazy yet!
Best Moment this week: Well we got all of our doctor/insurance stuff all figured out so that's a big relief! Also, just letting the news sink in has been nice - I still sort of feel like I'm pretending sometimes and I have to pinch myself and remember that this is ACTUALLY happening!
Looking forward to: Our first Dr appt is scheduled for December 7! I CANNOT wait! I even made a countdown on my phone for it! (nerd alert!) I will be about 9 weeks along by then and we should be able to hear the baby's heartbeat and hopefully get an ultrasound! Also, we signed up for a class at a local birthing center called 'Dogs and Babies'. It will be on December 1st and I am pretty excited about that - we need to get Hudson all baby-ready before July! Lots of fun and exciting things coming up in the next few weeks/months!
